A private Facebook group for the course will be safe space to ask questions and submit your own images to share with others. Each week a new topic will be introduced for you to explore in your own life. In this collective style course, Amy will act as moderator and discuss how she uses both composite and portrait photography to process the big feelings in her life. Each Tuesday, Amy will post an instructional video and each Monday, a critique video from Amy will be posted. Join Amy King as she moderates a new Foundations class - Soul Stories: The Emotion of Art.įoundations of Soul Stories: The Emotion of Art will begin on April 3rd and will continue for 4 weeks. Sometimes Amy creates a masterpiece and sometimes she just creatse, but either way she usually feel better afterward. When life feels heavy, Amy King turns to photography as a way to process her feelings, as a way to push through or reflect on a difficult time, or simply as a way to escape. The world is a crazy place and everyone you encounter is probably struggling in some way under the masks we wear each day.
